We visited the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, Montana. We really enjoyed visiting and seeing the bears, wolves and birds of prey. All the animals there were kind of adorable rescues. They were rescued because they were breaking in to people’s things and stealing their things. They were put in captivity in stead of being put to sleep.
This is me comparing my hand to a colossal grizzly paw. My tiny hand is nothing compared to it though.
This is a picture of a fierce wolf named Niki. This beast of nature is a nine year old girl.
This is a picture of three huge eagles. None of them can fly, though. They had a collision with a car.
This is a picture of garbage cans that got demolished by bears. Not even the huge metal ones stood a chance. They did this to test how strong different trash cans are.
Keeper Kids at The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center
This bear colossus’s skull is at least 2 times bigger then my whole head. Imagine being a bear I think it would be pretty cool.
We also got to feed the bears. This was probably my favourite part of the experience. We hid the food under rocks and logs.
Then we got to watch the bears find and eat the food. I got to look at them through a telescope.
Birds of Prey Discovery Talk
This vicious predator of the raptor family is blind in its left eye. It got hit by a car poor thing.
You can find more information about the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center here. It is located in West Yellowstone, Montana. We give it a big thumbs up and think that the Keeper Kid’s program is worth the extra $5. Also, your ticket is good for two consecutive days so you can visit more than once for the same price.
